Peacock Groove has a very good philosophy when it comes to building
bikes, stems, and forks - Style, Strength, Function meld into one.
We know that the part needs to be strong, but strengthis not enough!
There are plenty of bikes out there that ride good, are strong and
have a nice paint job. Peacock Groove strives to do all of the above
- and makes sure your bike has style! It doesn't matter how much you've
paid for whatever bike you
bought, your Peacock Groove will never be lost in the bike rack. Remember
- this bike is for you - it should represent what you like and who
you are. It doesn't matter what you do or ride - cross, road, track,
mountain bike, 29", single, BMX, dual slalom, or crazy choppers...
if you want it in steel, we want to do it.
Remember - we build bikes! If it's got two wheels, we can do it. We want you to have a bike that is "yours". You know who made it, you know we cared. It doesn't leave our doors unless we would ride it. That's the way we work - there is only one you. You weren't made from a cookie cutter and neither should your bike be!
STYLE
Style - something we believe in. There will most likely never be two Peacock
Groove's that look alike. You look close and that is where the difference
is. That's our point: the details. Take for instance, the stainless
steel skulls. You won't see that on most bikes. Style is incorporated
throughout all of the frame.
Take the headtube machined from 4130 - lightens it up and leaves material
at the ends. Not only to make it look better, but increases strength
too. Take the decals: also custom. You can get your own custom Peacock
Groove decals for your bike. Check out the top tube: made in the USA.
Take a look at the mono-stays: capped with three stainless skulls
- hand carved and filed. Disc tabs - while some are very practical,
they just don't have any soul. We like to say that it's in the cards...
use what you're dealt. When you get disc tabs from us, they'll always
be more than the sum of its parts. Doing all of this costs money.
It takes time, craftsmanship, patience, and love... but that's why
we do it - a blend of function, art, love and soul. All with steel,
all with pride, all for you!
